This page explains how Nan Recipes complies with the EU/EEA General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the UK GDPR. It supplements our [Privacy Policy] and applies to visitors in the EEA and UK.
1) Who We Are (Controller)
For the purposes of GDPR, Nan Recipes (Nanrecipes.com) is the data controller of personal data collected through the Site. We determine the purposes and means of processing your personal data.
2) What Personal Data We Process
We may process the following categories of data:
- Identification & Contact Data: name, email address (e.g., when subscribing to the newsletter, submitting a contact form, or leaving a comment).
- Content You Provide: recipe ratings, comments, messages.
- Technical & Usage Data: IP address, device and browser type, general location (city/country), pages viewed, time on page, referring/exit pages, interactions with the Site.
- Cookie/Tracker Data: identifiers stored via cookies or similar technologies (see §9).
We do not intentionally collect special category data (e.g., health, religion) or data of children under the age of consent (see §12).

- Data Portability for data you provided to us with consent or for a contract, where technically feasible.
- Withdraw Consent where processing relies on consent (this does not affect prior lawful processing).
How to exercise your rights:
Email Contact@Nanrecipes.com with your request and enough information to verify your identity. We will respond within one month (extendable by two months for complex requests; we’ll let you know if so).
Complaints:
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local Supervisory Authority (e.g., your country’s Data Protection Authority in the EEA or the UK ICO).
9) Cookies & Similar Technologies
We use cookies and similar technologies to:
- keep the site secure and functional (strictly necessary),
- remember preferences (functional),
- measure performance (analytics),
- support affiliate links or advertising where applicable (marketing).

12) Children’s Data
Our Site is for a general audience but not directed to children under the age of digital consent in your country (typically 13–16). We do not knowingly process children’s personal data. If you believe a child has provided personal data, contact us at Contact@Nanrecipes.com and we will take appropriate steps.
