Cajun Seafood Alfredo with Lobster and Crab made approachable with clear cues, pantry staples, and flexible swaps.

Ingredients
  

  • 8 oz fettuccine pasta
  • 1 lb lobster meat cooked and chopped
  • 1 lb crab meat cooked and picked
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup parmesan cheese grated
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 3 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 tbsp Cajun seasoning
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • 2 green onions sliced (for garnish)

Method
 

  1. Cook the fettuccine pasta according to package instructions until al dente, then drain and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
  3. Stir in the Cajun seasoning, cooking for an additional minute to toast the spices slightly.
  4. Pour in the heavy cream, stirring well to combine. Allow to simmer for 4-5 minutes, thickening slightly.
  5. Add grated parmesan cheese gradually, stirring constantly until melted and incorporated into the sauce.
  6. Fold in the lobster and crab meat gently, cooking for another 2-3 minutes until heated through.
  7. Season with salt and black pepper to your taste, adjusting as needed based on your preferences.
  8. Add the cooked fettuccine to the skillet, tossing well to coat each strand in the Cajun seafood Alfredo sauce.
  9. Remove from heat, and let the dish sit for a minute before serving. Garnish with sliced green onions.
