Ingredients
  

  • 12 slices of bacon
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup cream cheese
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce

Method
 

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine cream cheese and mozzarella, mixing until well blended.
  3. In another bowl, mix flour, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, and a pinch of salt and pepper.
  4. Slice the bacon strips in half and wrap each around a mozzarella popper, securing with a toothpick.
  5. Dip each bacon-wrapped popper into the flour mixture, ensuring all surfaces are coated.
  6. Arrange the coated poppers on the baking sheet, leaving space between each one.
  7. Bake in the oven for 20-25 minutes or until the bacon is golden and the cheese is bubbling.
  8. While the poppers are baking, whisk together honey and soy sauce in a small bowl to create the glaze.
  9. Once the poppers are done, remove them from the oven and brush them with the sweet glaze immediately.
  10. Let them cool slightly before serving; enjoy while warm.
