Ingredients
  

  • 200 g kataifi pastry
  • 150 g unsalted butter melted
  • 100 g pistachios shelled and chopped
  • 200 g dark chocolate chopped
  • 50 g powdered sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

Method
 

  1. Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F).
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the kataifi pastry with melted butter.
  3. Spread the kataifi mixture evenly in a baking dish.
  4. Bake the kataifi in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until golden brown.
  5. While the kataifi is baking, carefully melt the dark chocolate with powdered sugar and vanilla extract.
  6. Once the kataifi is ready, let it cool slightly before pouring the melted chocolate mixture over the top.
  7. Sprinkle chopped pistachios over the melted chocolate while it is still warm.
  8. Chill the assembled bar in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours to set.
  9. Once set, slice the bar into squares or rectangles.
