Ingredients
  

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 cup orzo pasta
  • 1 medium onion chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 bell pepper chopped
  • 1 can 14.5 oz diced tomatoes, undrained
  • 2 cups beef broth
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • Fresh parsley chopped (for garnish)

Method
 

  1. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
  2. Add chopped onions and garlic; sauté until softened.
  3. Stir in the ground beef; cook until browned.
  4. Add chopped bell pepper and season with salt, pepper, oregano, and paprika.
  5. Pour in the diced tomatoes and beef broth; stir to combine.
  6. Stir in orzo, making sure it's well incorporated.
  7. Bring to a gentle simmer and cover the skillet; cook for about 10-12 minutes.
  8. Once the orzo is tender, taste and adjust seasoning as needed.
  9. Remove from heat and let rest for a few minutes before serving.
