Ingredients
  

  • 1 box vanilla cake mix
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 cup water
  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil
  • 1 cup orange soda
  • 1 cup sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 cup heavy whipping cream
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 1/4 cup orange juice
  • Zest of one orange

Method
 

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Prepare the cake mix according to package instructions, using eggs, oil, and water.
  3. Once mixed, gently fold in the orange soda.
  4. Pour the batter into a greased 9x13 inch baking pan and bake for 25-30 minutes.
  5. Remove from the oven and let it cool for 10-15 minutes.
  6. Using the end of a wooden spoon, poke holes throughout the cake.
  7. In a bowl, mix the sweetened condensed milk with orange juice.
  8. Pour the orange juice and condensed milk mixture over the cake while it’s still warm.
  9. Let the cake cool completely in the fridge for at least 2 hours.
  10. Whip the heavy cream with powdered sugar until stiff peaks form.
  11. Spread the whipped cream over the cooled cake and finish with orange zest.
