Ingredients
  

  • 1 sheet of puff pastry
  • 1 cup pumpkin puree
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
  • 1 egg for egg wash
  • Powdered sugar for dusting

Method
 

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Roll out the puff pastry on a floured surface.
  3. Cut the pastry into rectangles or squares.
  4. Mix together the pumpkin puree, brown sugar, cinnamon, and nutmeg.
  5. Place a spoonful of pumpkin filling in the center of each pastry piece.
  6. Fold the pastry over the filling and twist gently.
  7. Place the twists on a parchment-lined baking tray.
  8. Brush the twists with the egg wash.
  9. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown.
