Delicious Samoas Cookies to Satisfy Your Sweet Cravings

Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter softened
  • 1 large egg
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup sweetened shredded coconut
  • 1/2 cup caramel sauce
  • 1 cup semisweet chocolate chips

Method
 

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the softened butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar. Cream together until light and fluffy.
  3. Add the egg and mix until fully incorporated.
  4. In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt.
  5. Gradually add the dry mixture to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
  6. Fold in the shredded coconut until evenly distributed.
  7. Drop spoonfuls of dough onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  8. Bake in the preheated oven for 10-12 minutes, or until the edges are set.
  9. Allow the cookies to cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring them to a wire rack.
  10. Once cooled, drizzle caramel sauce over the cookies and let it set.
  11. Melt the semisweet chocolate chips in the microwave or using a double boiler, then dip the bottom of each cookie in the melted chocolate.
  12. Place the dipped cookies on parchment paper to cool until the chocolate sets.
