Delicious Taco Wraps Featuring Ground Turkey

Ingredients
  

  • 1 pound ground turkey
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 small onion diced
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 tablespoon taco seasoning
  • 1 cup diced tomatoes
  • 4 large tortillas
  • 1 cup shredded lettuce
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheese optional
  • Sour cream or Greek yogurt optional

Method
 

  1. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
  2. Add the diced onion and sauté until translucent, about 5 minutes.
  3. Stir in the minced garlic and cook for an additional minute.
  4. Add the ground turkey and cook until browned, breaking it apart with a spoon.
  5. Sprinkle in the taco seasoning and stir to combine.
  6. Incorporate the diced tomatoes and cook for an additional 3-5 minutes until heated through.
  7. Warm tortillas in a separate skillet or microwave until pliable.
  8. Spoon the turkey mixture onto each tortilla and top with shredded lettuce, cheese, and any other desired toppings.
  9. Fold in the sides of the tortilla and roll tightly from the bottom.
  10. Serve immediately with your choice of dipping sauces or additional toppings.
