Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a loaf pan.
In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the dry ingredients: flour, baking powder, baking soda, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt.
In another bowl, combine the wet ingredients: apple cider, sugar, vegetable oil, eggs, and vanilla extract.
Gradually add the wet mixture to the dry ingredients, stirring until just combined.
Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan and smooth out the top.
Bake in the preheated oven for 50–60 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
While the bread is baking, prepare the cinnamon sugar topping.
Once baked, remove the bread from the oven and let it cool for 10 minutes in the pan.
Turn the bread out onto a wire rack and immediately brush with melted butter, then sprinkle the cinnamon sugar evenly over the top.
Let the bread cool completely before slicing.
