Delightful Baked Brie Topped with Cranberry Sauce

Baked Brie with Cranberry Sauce made approachable with clear cues, pantry staples, and flexible swaps.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 wheel of Brie cheese about 8 oz
  • 1 cup cranberry sauce
  • 1 sheet of puff pastry thawed
  • 1 egg for egg wash
  • Fresh rosemary or thyme optional, for garnish

Method
 

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Roll out the puff pastry on a lightly floured surface.
  3. Place the Brie in the center of the pastry.
  4. Spoon cranberry sauce generously over the top of the Brie.
  5. Fold the pastry over the Brie and cranberries, sealing edges carefully.
  6. Brush the pastry with egg wash to promote browning.
  7. Transfer to a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and bake for 25-30 minutes.
  8. Let it cool slightly before serving.
