Ingredients
  

  • 4 ripe pears
  • 1 cup rolled oats
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 cup chopped walnuts
  • 2 tablespoons melted butter
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • Honey for drizzling optional

Method
 

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Prepare the pears by cutting them in half and removing the core.
  3. In a mixing bowl, combine oats, brown sugar, cinnamon, walnuts, melted butter, and salt.
  4. Spoon the oat mixture generously into the center of each pear half.
  5. Place the stuffed pears on a baking dish and cover with foil.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes.
  7. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 10 minutes until golden.
  8. Drizzle with honey just before serving.
