Delightful Triple Berry Sauce for Cheesecake Topping

Bright and tangy, this Triple Berry Sauce for Topping a Plain Cheesecake adds a burst of summer flavor and a luscious texture, ideal for any celebration.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup strawberries hulled and sliced
  • 1 cup blueberries fresh or frozen
  • 1 cup raspberries fresh or frozen
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 1/4 cup water

Method
 

  1. Prepare the berries by washing and hulling them as necessary.
  2. In a medium saucepan, combine the strawberries, blueberries, raspberries, and sugar.
  3. Add the lemon juice, cornstarch, and water to the berry mixture.
  4. Cook over medium heat, stirring frequently, until the mixture begins to boil.
  5. Once boiling, reduce the heat and let the sauce simmer for about 5-7 minutes.
  6. Remove the sauce from heat and let it cool slightly before serving.
  7. Serve the triple berry sauce over slices of plain cheesecake.
