Remove the turkey from the marinade and discard the marinade.
Place the turkey on a roasting rack in a large roasting pan.
Roast the turkey for about 3 to 3.5 hours, basting occasionally.
Check the internal temperature; it should reach 165°F (74°C) in the thickest part.
Let the turkey rest for at least 20-30 minutes before carving.
