Ingredients
  

  • 1 unbaked 9-inch pie crust
  • 2 cups pumpkin puree
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 3/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground ginger
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract

Method
 

  1. Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
  2. Prepare the pie crust and place it in a 9-inch pie pan.
  3. In a medium bowl, whisk together the pumpkin puree, brown sugar, granulated sugar, and spices.
  4. Add the eggs and vanilla extract to the mixture, and whisk until smooth.
  5. Gradually mix in the heavy cream until fully combined.
  6. Pour the pumpkin filling into the prepared crust.
  7. Bake in the preheated oven for 15 minutes.
  8. Reduce the oven temperature to 350°F (175°C) and continue baking for about 35-40 minutes.
  9. Check for doneness by inserting a knife into the filling.
  10. Allow the pie to cool before serving.
