Flavorful Slow Cooker Mince Pasta Bake Delight

Rich and hearty, this Slow Cooker Mince Pasta Bake combines tender pasta, savory mince, and melted cheese, making it a comforting dish for family gatherings.

Ingredients
  

  • 500 g minced beef or pork
  • 400 g pasta penne or fusilli
  • 1 onion diced
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 800 g canned crushed tomatoes
  • 200 ml beef or vegetable stock
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1 teaspoon dried basil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 100 g grated cheese Cheddar or Mozzarella

Method
 

  1. Brown the minced meat in a skillet.
  2. Sauté the onion and garlic until fragrant.
  3. Combine all ingredients in the slow cooker.
  4. Add pasta to the slow cooker.
  5. Cook on low for 6-8 hours or high for 3-4 hours.
  6. Stir in half the grated cheese before serving.
  7. Serve topped with remaining cheese.
