Ingredients
  

  • 1 box yellow cake mix
  • 1 cup water
  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 can sweetened condensed milk 14 oz
  • 1 cup pecans chopped
  • 1/2 cup caramel sauce
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Whipped cream for topping

Method
 

  1. Prepare the cake mix as directed on the package.
  2. Bake the cake in a preheated oven according to the package instructions.
  3. Remove from oven and let the cake cool in the pan for about 10-15 minutes.
  4. Use the handle of a wooden spoon to poke holes in the cake.
  5. Pour the sweetened condensed milk over the cake, making sure it fills the holes.
  6. Allow the cake to cool completely in the pan, then refrigerate for at least 4 hours, or preferably overnight.
  7. Before serving, prepare the praline topping.
  8. Spread the whipped cream over the cake and top with the pecan praline mixture.
