  • 4 salmon fillets about 6 oz each, skin removed if preferred
  • 1 teaspoon lemon zest
  • 2 cloves garlic minced

  • ½ teaspoon black pepper

Method
 

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F. Line a baking sheet with foil or parchment paper for easy cleanup.
  2. In a small bowl, whisk together olive oil, lemon juice, lemon zest, garlic, parsley, dill, salt, and pepper.
  3. Place the salmon fillets on the prepared baking sheet. Brush the lemon and herb mixture evenly over each piece.
  4. If desired, place a thin lemon slice on top of each fillet for extra flavor and presentation.
  5. Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until the salmon flakes easily with a fork. Cooking time may vary slightly depending on thickness.
  6. Garnish with fresh parsley if using, and serve warm with your favorite sides like steamed veggies or rice.
