Ingredients
  

  • 1 bunch of kale about 6-8 ounces
  • 1 large onion thinly sliced
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon salt or to taste
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper or to taste
  • 1 tablespoon balsamic vinegar optional

Method
 

  1. Prepare the kale by washing and removing the stems.
  2. Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
  3. Add the sliced onions to the skillet and cook until caramelized.
  4. Season the onions with salt and black pepper.
  5. Add the kale to the skillet and toss to combine.
  6. Cover the skillet and allow the kale to wilt for about 5-7 minutes.
  7. Finish with balsamic vinegar and adjust seasoning if necessary.
