Savoring the Flavors of Tuscan Chicken Pasta

Richly seasoned chicken and al dente pasta mingle in a creamy sauce, creating a comforting dish that brings the warmth of Tuscany to any dinner table.

Ingredients
  

  • 2 chicken breasts boneless, skinless
  • 8 ounces penne pasta
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 4 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 cup sun-dried tomatoes chopped
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1 cup spinach fresh or thawed frozen
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Parmesan cheese for garnishing

Method
 

  1. Cook the penne pasta according to package instructions.
  2. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat.
  3. Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper, then add them to the skillet.
  4. Cook the chicken for about 6-7 minutes on each side until golden and cooked through.
  5. Remove the chicken from the skillet and let it rest.
  6. In the same skillet, add minced garlic and sun-dried tomatoes, sauté briefly.
  7. Pour in the heavy cream and add Italian seasoning, stirring well.
  8. Add spinach to the sauce and let it wilt slightly.
  9. Slice the cooked chicken and return it to the skillet, mixing everything together.
  10. Toss the cooked penne pasta with the sauce mixture.
  11. Serve hot, garnished with grated Parmesan cheese.
