Ingredients
  

  • 1 sheet of puff pastry thawed
  • 1 pound of thinly sliced roast beef
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 1/2 cup shredded Swiss cheese
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 egg for egg wash

Method
 

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Roll out the puff pastry on a lightly floured surface.
  3. Cut the pastry into squares, roughly 4 inches each.
  4. In a mixing bowl, combine sliced roast beef, Swiss cheese, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
  5. Place a spoonful of the beef mixture in the center of each pastry square.
  6. Fold the pastry over the filling and press the edges to seal.
  7. Place the sealed squares on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  8. Brush each square with the egg wash.
  9. Bake for 20-25 minutes until golden brown.
  10. While baking, heat beef broth in a saucepan until warm.
  11. Serve the French Dip Squares with warm beef broth on the side for dipping.
