Savory Sausage Cream Cheese Crescents for Every Occasion

Sausage Cream Cheese Crescents offer a delightful blend of savory sausage and creamy filling wrapped in flaky crescents, perfect for gatherings or a cozy snack.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 pound of breakfast sausage
  • 8 ounces of cream cheese softened
  • 1 teaspoon of garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon of onion powder
  • 1 can of crescent roll dough 8 ounces
  • 1/2 cup of shredded cheddar cheese optional

Method
 

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a skillet over medium heat, cook the breakfast sausage until browned and fully cooked. Drain excess grease.
  3. In a bowl, combine cooked sausage, softened cream cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, and optional cheddar cheese until well mixed.
  4. Roll out the crescent dough on a flat surface and separate it into triangles.
  5. Place a spoonful of the sausage mixture at the wider end of each triangle and roll toward the point.
  6. Place rolled crescents on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  7. Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until golden brown.
  8. Remove from the oven and let cool for a few minutes before serving hot.
