Ingredients
  

  • 4 boneless skinless chicken breasts
  • 8 slices of bacon
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup cream cheese
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • Salt to taste
  • Olive oil for cooking

Method
 

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Cook the bacon until crispy, then chop into small pieces.
  3. In a bowl, mix the cream cheese, mozzarella, cooked bacon, garlic powder, black pepper, oregano, and salt.
  4. Carefully butterfly each chicken breast, creating a pocket for stuffing.
  5. Stuff each chicken breast with the filling, securing with toothpicks if necessary.
  6. Heat olive oil in a large oven-safe skillet over medium-high heat.
  7. Sear each stuffed chicken breast for about 4-5 minutes per side until golden brown.
  8. Transfer the skillet to the preheated oven, and bake for 20-25 minutes until cooked through.
  9. Remove from oven, let rest for a few minutes, and slice before serving.
